"Impulse-IP" telemetric equipment for electrical prospecting is designed for performing of works by the IP method (induced polarization in a time domain), most of the variants of electrical profiling (EP), vertical electric soundings (VES and VES-IP), self potential field (SP), and also for performing of combined areal-logging electrical survey by method of charge both for conditions of open and cased wells.
"Impulse-IP" equipment is made of the separate field modules providing registration of potential (voltage) on grounded receiver lines, digitization of a signal and communication to a PC in real time scale.

Modular solution of “Impulse-IP” equipment allows to expand considerably a series of solvable tasks without involvement of the specialized equipment. For example, performing of VES in classical variant where one channel is enough or multidistance electric profiling. Use of telemetry and capability of visualization of measurement process in real time allows to create monitoring systems on the base of “Impulse-IP” equipment.
The modularity of the equipment allows the consumer to increase number of channels gradually, as requirements or financial opportunities grow up. Each module is the finished measuring unit that allows to use it both either in a multichannel complex or as independent measuring unit.
Since it isn't required to make specialized cable braids this allows to adapt the system easily for specifically solvable tasks, namely a choice of the size of receiver lines.
Ability of change of input resistance allows to increase quality of data under various conditions of grounding.
Attenuation of harmonic noise of industrial frequency to the level down to 120 dB allows to expand considerably areas of using of the equipment.

The control and data acquisition software program provides setting of parameters of measurement, acquisition telemetric information, visualization of streaming data in real time. The feature and advantage of the program is the preliminary data processing provided directly in the process of measurement as summary growth average result signal that allows an operator to control the quality of measurements.
Data processing is provided in the software program EMDP complex. During data processing filtration of results of measurements, calculation of the apparent resistivity and time domain characteristics is provided: polarizability parameter, creation of pseudo-cuts of apparent resistivity and polarizability.
