The device is designed for geophysical TEM measurements. High sampling rate with median filtration allows to perform both high-frequency studies in engineering surveys and deep research due to the exponential data compression.
User friendly GUI. A big 4-inch color display allows to view the signal in real time, as well as the number of satellites, coordinates, time and work mode.
The user interface is designed to work both highly qualified personnel and ordinary users: basic and advanced settings are separated into different windows.
Operator can observe both the signal and the apparent resistivity by depth graph in the window of preliminary interpretation.
Synchronization with the transmitter: via cable or GPS. GPS receiver and antenna are integrated into the device.
Two inputs for simultancous measuriments from two separate sensors. Data transfer to PC: Ethernet.
- Analog path is built using differential scheme, with two precision symmetric channels of amplification.
- Digitization of data is carried out using two ADC: 16-bit 20 MHz and 24-bit 2.5 MHz.
- Altera Cyclone IV FPGA matrix is responsible for the aquisition, median filtering and writing data to the non-volatile memory. ARM Cortex M3 microcontroller operating at a frequency of 120 MHz is responsible for service functions.
