In the period from December, 2015 to March, 2016 specialists of our company were providing a TEM survey in variant of continuous electromagnetic scanning (EM-scanning) in motion. The next equipment for TEM surveys was used: "Impulse-D-13" receiver and "KT-5" transmitter. The area of the survey for object #2 on Yangareysky license area (Nenets Autonomous Area) exceeds 1000 sq.km.
The purpose of this survey was the forecast of depth of drilling for wells of shot points (SP) and planning for SP offsets in cases of presence of crystalline rocks lying at depths less than 5 m.
The regular areal survey of the studied territory on a grid of the SP profiles with 300 m separation has been provied with an advancing of drilling-and-shooting works (DSW) upon already done topogeodetic grid in the scanning mode using observation system with offset. The newest development of our company as combination of “Impulse-D13” measuring unit and "KT-5" transmitter were used for this survey. The control and measurement units were placed on the air-pumped frame towed by all-terrain vehicle. Coordinate binding of points of measurements of EM-scanning was provided by modern navigation systems with an accuracy sufficient for surveys of 1:25000 scale.
By results of processing of obtained data the geoelectric sections and distribution plans of apparent resistivity at depths of 5; 9; 12,5 and 15 m were drawn.
This works have allowed to accelerate DSW by means of localization of zones of decreased conductivity and providing of recommendations for new sites of drilling-and-shooting works.
